Is this a coincidence or has the whole world learned of the magnificent
website AtlasQuest.com that our own Ryan Carpenter, aka Green Tortuga (turtle for
those of you who are bilingually challenged) commandeers--it's World Turtle
Day!!
If you haven't already done so--which may mean you've had your own head
retracted into your respective shells--go to this wonderful letterboxing website
and cruise around.
And if for some reason this World Turtle Day was instead created for those
formidable reptiles we all hold dear, here's a little turtle joke for you all:
Why is turtle wax so expensive? Turtles have very tiny ears!

Go to turtlesurvival.org, the website for the Turtle Survival Alliance. A worthy
organization of turtle specialists who, four years ago, organized the rescue of
over 4,000 turtles confiscated from illegal dealers in Asia.
